This chapter walks you step by step through the entire prescription process. You will begin with intake and profile creation, learn how prescriptions are entered and clinically verified, and understand how medications are filled, checked, and picked up by patients. Beyond that, you will cover workflow prioritization, basket systems, unseen daily activities, and how to handle prescription transfers. By practicing the full cycle, you will be ready to contribute confidently in a real pharmacy.
Pharmacy assistants are often the first point of contact for patients, making customer service a vital skill.
